FAJARDO-suukappale huiluun.
Tätä erikoista suukappaletta valmisti Armstrong 1900-luvun lopulla kuubalaisen
herra Fajardon idean pohjalta. Alumiinista puolipyöreätä, toisestä päästä kape-
nevaa puikkoa voidaan kiertää suukappaleen sisällä siten, että puhallusilmaa
vasten tulee joko puinen tai metallinen pinta. Täten huilun äänenväriä voidaan säätää soittajan mieltymysten mukaan. Tämän suukappaleen runko on tehty
puusta.

FAJARDO- mouth piece for flute.
This peculiar head joint was manufactured in the end of 20th century by Armstrong Co.in U.S.A after the Cuban inventor Mr.Fajardo. The half round
aluminium stick narrowing downwards was turned so that there was a hard or softer material against the air stream produced by embouchure. Depending on the stick position the player could change the timbre at will from metallic to softer,wood like sound. The body of the head joint is made of ebony.
